Econo Lodge Union City - Atlanta South

First the room I was giving the door literally wouldn't open. The second room. OMG. Soon as I opened the door and walked inside I was hit in the face with a different kinda heat . Straight up. I cut the air on and the room literally never cooled off not in the least. It just blew hot air the entire time. And the TV didn't work. .. so basically I just paid for a sauna. Smmfh. Horrible experience

From the very beginning I've always had an excellent experience. The front desk and housekeeping go above and beyond. Management is always professional, like Family! Anytime I come to Union City Georgia I refuse to check in at any other Hotel But the Econo Lodge Union City. My rooms are always, always neat and clean. The Econo Lodge Union City is like a Home away from home. They will even work with you if you're a little short on cash.

For economic accommodation it was overall good. Nice comfy king bed and staff that are pleasant and ready to assist. The front desk even called around 9am to check on me if I needed anything... pretty awesome!! Being on the first floor though, you can hear footsteps on the floor above. I was unfortunate to have a group above me and was awakened at midnight as they arrived and again at 5am as they left. The second night was perfectly quiet and normal. Rooms are not sound proof so expect to hear a little outside sounds which can be ignored. Had a little hiccup with the lady at check in. When I tried to verify she was looking the correct confirmation as the info on my phone was not matching what she was looking at on her computer, she told me to go somewhere else... She was however receptive to some constructive criticism and promised never to say that to anybody ever again. Remember, this is budget accommodation so do not go there expecting 5star facilities and then post bad comments about the place. It's for broke people like me. I definitely would stay there again.

If you're here looking at the old reviews or pictures, know that it has been redone beautifly. My family lives in the road and we've been traveling the last 5 months and this is THE NICEST hotel we've stayed in that wasn't a crazy price. There's a flat screen TV, a. Rand new mattress(super soft), good AC, dressers, a good space to. Ring your bags into, a newly redone bathroom(it's very clean and very white, the water pressure is good and it gets hot/warm). The floor is new, it looks like an artificial wood floor, and EVERYTHING is CLEAN. There's no smell that I heard about in the other reviews and no loud people in the parking lot at night. The price of the hotel was cheaper when we booked then called so definitely check that out. Would definitely stay here again!

Man, when I say Rick saved me!! I was in need a room after a long drive from Va to Ga. I came here last minute and in the middle of renovations. Rick gave me a brand spanking new fully renovated room. It was actually way too nice for the price. I recommend! If you have any issues with your room, just ask for Rick. He will reserve something special for you! Thanks dude!

Very nice place! They are in a middle of remodeling... For the price I booked they asked if I wanted a new room! I got it! Very nice! Ice machine never ran out of ice! No breakfast but waffle House is right there.

Extremely safe environment, they have security at night. Loved staying here
